I used many ways for dating but one way I did not try is "blind dating" as I don't think it would work for me. I think when you have a blind date; you are not really dating someone of your own interests but rather with the interests of the person who arranged the blind date. I would not like to date someone that has been chose by any of my family members or friends as he might turn out to be not as I expected and end up not liking him. This fact of me not liking the "blind date" chosen for me might turn out to be a problem especially if I was asked "why" I did not like him. What I like might not necessarily mean liking what people around me like.

I have tried registering in so many free dating sites as sometimes you never know when you meet the one. It is a way of changing and exploring new people from different backgrounds. For me, it is important to give real information when you sign up in these free sites as when you tell a lie, you will end up lying more and more. Another thing is when you lie, you lose track of what lie you told who, when and where (which site). It is best when dating to be always honest.

The first date I went to was with a nice man who was four (4) years younger than me. I wanted to break the traditional "first date circle" I used over and over of choosing men who are older than me. My idea of this date was to get to know how a younger man would think of what I think and how things are different when you are young and your partner is old or older than you. I mainly want to explore more about many things such as the way he looks at me, what he thinks and how would our relationship looked at by others.

My first date with a younger man was really great and was so much fun. He had so many ideas that I liked and I enjoyed the love making. I also liked how my friends looked at me when I invited him over. However, I did not look at him as a real partner because he was not the one. It is why my search is still on with the hope to find “Mr. Right” or the right partner for me.
